    High-temperature resistant thermal insulating coating is one sort of the aerospace energy-conserving resistant thermal insulating coatings which consist of the type of high-temperature coating and the type of the room-temperature coating. The high-temperature resistant thermal insulating coating, which is the pioneer in the world, is inorganic mono-component and free of bad odors. The scope of temperature resistance is from-80℃ to 1500℃, and the heat conductivity is only 0.03W/m.K. therefore, it can inhibit and shield the radiant heat of infrared ray and the heat transfer efficiently. The efficiency of thermal insulation and inhibition is up to about 90%. It can inhibit the heat radiation and heat diffusion from the high-temperature object. And to the low-temperature object, it can keep cool efficiently and inhibit the cold loss caused by radiating-heat of the environment, and also it can prevent the object from condensation.

Test conclusion: Painting the high-temperature resistant thermal insulating coating on the surface of the high-temperature pipeline, the equipment, the inside and outside of the furnace and the container can inhibit the heat radiation and heat loss efficiently.

1. Painting 8mm thick coating on the surface of object can decrease the surface temperature of the object from 1100℃ to  150℃.

2. Painting only 6mm thick coating on the surface inside and outside the hearth and furnace can decrease the heat loss more than 30%. 

3. The coating painted on the inner walls of the hearth and furnace will be more level and smoother than any other material. And the function of infrared reflection of the frame can be enhanced. So the heat absorption of inner walls of furnace will be decreased, and then the flame temperature of furnace increases.

4. Painting 10mm thick coating on the box at the temperature of -30℃ will keep the internal temperature of the box no higher than 0℃ in 24 hours.

5. Chloride ion content in coating is zero, and the coating can prevent the wet chloride and sulfide from exposure to the metal surface in the course of craftwork or in the air. So it has the satisfying anticorrosion effect, and it won’t cause the weld seam embrittlement. 

6. The coating can be used on the flue, the air channel and wind shield, etc. and it has the good characters of strong wear resistance and impact resistance.

7. The insulating coefficient of the coating is very high, and the insulating efficiency under high temperature is very good.

8. The coating is free of bad odors, and it will neither deform nor decompose under the high temperature.

Product Features: High-temperature resistant thermal insulating coating has the features of water resistance, crack control, fire resistance, sound insulation, flame resistance, insulation, wear resistance, resistance to aid and alkali, light weight, ease of application and long service life, etc.

1. Adiathermancy: the coating can prevent the heat transfer efficiently, and it keeps the inherent temperature and energy of the object consistently, such as, heat insulation, heat preservation, cold insulation and the freezing prevention, etc.

2. Adhesion:  with the strong adhesion stress, the coating sticks to the object completely, and it attaches on the surface of the object firmly.

3. Resistance to Elasticity: the coating can prevent the base material from the expansion and contraction caused by heat or cold under the different temperatures. The coating has fine characters of tensile strength and elasticity.

4. Harmfulness: the coating is free of bad odors. And the coating neither contains nor produces the harmful VOC material composition, carcinogenic substance and other harmful polymers, decomposition products and by-products.

5. Stability: the chemical properties of the coating are stable. The coating won’t react with any material, and it won’t be influenced by acid, alkali or corrosive substance.

6. Wear Resistance: the ceramic particles of the coating are piled tightly, and the solvent is treated with composite strengthening. So the wear resistance of the coating is good, and the wear-resisting strength of the coating is 8-10 times that of steel.

Job Practices:

1. The thickness of high-temperature coating is from about 0.3 mm to about 20mm and it should be painted according to thickness needed, not more than 20 times. The optimum surface temperature range of the objects or the equipments for painting is from 15℃ to 60℃. The coating mustn’t be painted on the working low-temperature or high-temperature objects directly.

2. Wash the rust, greasy dirt and the dust on the surface of the objects. Carry out the painting after the complete dry of the coating. It is s ested that you paint a seal coat on the permeable object first and then paint the high-temperature resistant thermal insulating coating

3. Decide the thickness according to the insulation effect which you want to get. The thickness of first coat is about 0.3mm, and the later ones can be more than 0.5mm. The following painting should be operated after the dry of the previous one. The thickness needed should be achieved by operating progressively.

4. With the demand from the customers, the coating can be painted on the inorganic primer specified by customer, but the coating can’t be painted on the organic primer directly.

5. The high-temperature channels and equipments can’t be started up until the coating on them have been completely solidified which will cost more than 48 hours normally.

Attentions in Painting:

High-temperature resistant thermal insulating coating has the character of simple construction. You can conduct the painting with brush, roller, and trowel or with the way of spray coating. If the spray coating is chosen, the spray gun should be airless high-pressure spray gun.

1. Open the barrel and stir uniformly.

2. Carry out the former treatment of smooth aluminum plate, smooth copper plate, plane skylight and the surface of the greasy object. Paint the transitional coating before conduct the painting

3. The rest of coating should be tightly closed, and it can’t be exposed to air.

4. The spraying equipments and tools should be washed with clear water in time.
