該CTB/S/N磁選機主要用於弱磁場濕式選別或除去細顆粒的強磁性礦物，廣氾用於選礦，選煤和化工行業。本產品由原地礦部唯一指定企業生產，執行行業標準。
在濕式磁選作業中，若要求獲得純淨的磁性礦物，通常選用順流型磁選機(適用小於6毫米)；若要求最大限度地回收磁選礦物，則選用逆流型磁選機（適用小於0.8毫米）；當藥兼顧磁性礦物的品位和回收率時，以選用半逆流磁選機（適用小於1毫米）,磁場強度由100高斯到6800高斯之間。
