產品應用：

1作為食品添加劑。辣椒作為食品調味料，需要對辣椒進行一些淺加工製成辣椒醬等。但食用這些制品時，其辣椒碱都要經過一個浸出過程，辣椒碱的生物利用率並不高。同時碱在腸道繼續釋放，刺激腸壁，可引起腹部不適，甚至造成肛門灼痛，誘發痔瘡。因此，從辣椒中提取分離出辣椒碱，作為食品加工過程中的添加劑，有利於辣度的控制和辣椒碱的充分吸收利用。

2醫藥保健方面的應用。

3.應用於海洋防污塗料。

4.作為電線電纜中防蟻防鼠忌避劑。
