KCGS系列鼓式紙帶過濾機組成部分與平網式紙帶過濾機基本相同，主要由以下几部分組成：液箱、廢布箱、過濾無紡布（通稱過濾布）、傳動結構、發訊機構、轉鼓、減速機及液泵等，機器能夠實現濾布的自動更換，濾布更新后機器停止轉動，進入下一步工作過濾循環。

KCGS系列鼓式過濾機傳動結構上的鏈條、絲網在轉鼓的壓合下呈圓弧面狀態的，鋪在它們上面的無紡布也是呈圓弧面狀，使臟冷卻液生產較高的液位，提高了濾布的利用率，減少了設備的佔地面積。
