Ⅰ. Angle-polished Lensed Fiber:

Angle-polished lensed fiber is produced by precision polishing techniques to abtain different angles tip,which mainly to reduce the light return or change the optical transmitted direction.

Ⅱ​.Lensed fiber:

Lensed fiber is produced using different fine lens tip shaping techniques.

The surface is treated by planar or spherical finishing,optionally the tip was coated with thin film layer.

Product application:
-DFB laser diode fiber tail coupling.
-Fiber to waveguide coupling.
-Medical and biological illumination applications.

 

Bare Fiber Coating

Bare Fiber Coating means laying optical thin film on the bare fiber end face to increase light transmission or reflection.

3V TECHNOLOGY succeed in polishing bare fiber without any epoxy and coating optical precision thin film to the fiber tip,which improve the product quality significantly.

Product Features:

-The fiber tip is directly polished without any epoxy in the process,which can aviod laser absorption caused by epoxy residue and reduce the fiber burn rate efficiently.
-High quality fiber tip polishing surface,without scratches and particles on the fiber core.-Coat only on the bare fiber tip(without ferrule&epoxy),which can eliminate film cracking caused by inconsistent thermal expansion coefficients of different substrates under the coating layer.
-Avoid the impact of the ferrule and epoxy on the laser chip at a close distance,effictively reducing COD and chip Contamination.
-Low heat absorption and high laser damage threshold of coating layer,Optical damage threshold(＞200MW/cm2,test by quantel USA)

Fiber Pigtail Coating

Protruding fiber pigtail is a kind of assembly which install a ceramic ferrule to the end of the coated bare fiber and keep the fiber’s endface some distance from the ferrule’s endface.Different from the traditional fiber and ferrule flat assembly way.Protruding fiber pigtail can eliminate film cracking caused by inconsistent thermal expansion coefficients of different substrates(fiber,epoxy,ferrule) under the coating layer and has obvious advantage in fiber coupled high power laser diode.

D80 Optic Fiber Patchcord utilize high precision D80 connector or air-gap-ferrule connector.It is equipped with high quality tip polishing surface fiber.The Patchcord mainly used for energy transmission of semiconductor laser modules and medium-low power solid state lasers.The internal connector of the fiber patch cord apply high-quality environment epoxy free technology,which improve the heat dissipation effect and service life of the fiber.The D80 Patchcord can meet the demand for laser welding,cutting and other high power transmission.3V TECHNOLOGY also offer custom patch cable services and accpet fiber cable(sunc as SMA905 jumper,FC/PC patch cord) coating services.
