This is a RIB-less programming set, so that no Radio Interface Box (RIB) is needed, no power supply being required. Simply hook it up to USB port. This programming kit is not a straight forward cable, there is an internal converter circuit board mounted in an USB plug. This programming cable comes wiith USB drivers, it provides quick and easy programming of the following Kenwood radios: TK-2140, TK-2180, TK-280, TK-285, TK-290, TK-3140, TK-3180, TK-380, TK-385, TK-390, TK-480, TK-490.
You will find that when you purchase our programming cable you will possibly never need to replace it. This cable is extensively tested at time of manufacture to be free of defects. This cable does not include any manuals or instructions for use.
