"The DEK248 is a flexible, semi-auto, surface mount screen printer which can be configured to accept the DEKalign4 vision system. " The DEK 248 screen printer has the following advanced features: Micro controlled menu driven operation. Machine parameters are programmable, and up to 30 separate menu files of 12 characters long can be stored within the 248 printer. Programmable speed of separation of the PCB and stencil for Fine Pitch applications. System controller communication via back-lit LCD 4 line displayoperator panel. Uses proven precision design and technology. Success of the 248 Printer has been consolidated by extensive use of castings and precision machine-tool bearings that ensure accuracy and repeatability in demanding, fine-pitch applications. New camera support arms and a single point release button reduce set-up time. For more accurate positioning the linear bearing system ensures smooth, robust motion when aligning the cameras to the PCB or mylar. DEKalign 4 has improved the handling of HASL boards, and is a system that can be easily extended as new vision enhancement packages are developed
